Hey guys, here's the final mix and comments! All takes were really good, and I think it turned out great, thanks a lot for joining in! smile.gif

See you soon on the next collaboration! smile.gif

Jax:

Great performance, very energetic take. You haven't played lots of notes, but you put a lot of strength into each one, and I think this sounds very convincing because of this. Your bends are rock solid with proper pitch and strength, and picking is alos very very accurate. There isn't much noise going on, and tone is very direct and rocking. Thing that really needs to be better in this one (and to me it's the only thing), is that you need to work more on vibrato. I see that you tried to vibrate some of the notes, and you are on the right track with those. Be cautios tho, and keep the vibrato controlled and slower. Try to slow down the movement while practicing in order to master it and control it. Doing it fast is only going to make it unpresice. As always precision waits to be discovered on lower tempos. Also, vibrato while bending would look great on some of those awesome bends, so it may pay out to investigate that technique a bit as well. So, a proper rocking take with lots of strength and right atitude! smile.gif

Dinaga:
Awesome rocking attitude with great big bends, great fast and cool sounding legato licks and direct rocking tone! smile.gif Anybody who watch this can tell you put lots of energy and emotion into this one, well done. There are several things that can be polished and adjusted here tho. Remember, playing fast is important from a timing point of view as well, so if you go fast, make sure you can land and follow the tempo with those notes. What I like to do is imagine whole "blocks" of notes in order not to get lost anywhere. Vibrato needs to be a bit more controlled as well, although it's great you are using it often. So, the main objective is to keep things simple, unless you are able to really keep up with the timing. Secondary objective is to watch on the landing notes of your licks - they should match the notes within the chords. So all in all great rocking take and attitude, and if you follow these advices it can turn out pro.

Gitarrero:
Haha, awesome take, with great attitude. I like your poses, it turned out great. Playing was very good with cool call&response phrases, and some pauses that complement the phrases very well. All in all great take. If there are some advices to give on those one, it's mostly about proper timing on some parts, and better vibrato. Also, on some places you seem to stop, missed a note perhaps and stuck a bit. It's not a bad thing it happens, but it's important to find the best way out of that situation as quickly as possible. All in all, I think it was a good take with a nice fast legato lick in the end, sounded very effective, and you just managed to finish the solo on the root to stay effective. Well done mate.

Fireball:
Wow, now that came from outer space for sure biggrin.gif Sounds awesome, and you inserted some very cool sounding licks throughout the solo. Various technique displayed here, but incorporated into a solo with great balance and taste. Tone is also very good. There isn't much to correct on this one, but you could make timing a bit better in the tapping part, towards the end of it, and the last bending lick came out unprece. Here you can apply very the rule: make it simpler and more effective. Your solo and performance is interesting enough, and this small faster and unprecise bit can spoil it. In this case, it would be better to play just couple of good notes (which I'm sure you can choose to make it sound tasty), and then to go to the "big finish" whammy lick. All in all, great take, well done with the various techniques! smile.gif
