...but I can't be as happy about it as I should be.
Let's start with the...well...delicate side:
As most of you know, my girlfriend left me at the end of october after 9,5 years. I really suffered badly, but I'm somewhat better now. Nevertheless, I told her we shouldn't have any contact at all because that makes it easier for me to get a grip and get my life back on track.
Well, when I returned home after I spent my birthday in England last week, I found a letter of her in my mailbox. It said:
"Dear Christian, I'm sure you'll find someone to accompany you to this. Happy 30th birthday, I really hope you are well."
And the present was:
Two tickets with floor admission for the Big Four in July in Germany, 80 Euros each...
I'm still somewhat shocked...I mean, I'll gladly take the tickets, but it still feels really weird.
Just letting you know.
Well, I'll definitely go to the concerts and will post some pics afterwards, but it's still 2,5 months away
Christian
congrats man hope that you will have some awesome gigs there
Wow thats awsome
Not only did your exgirlfriend pop up unexpectedly, you're gonna have some old friends that you haven't seen in a while show up from out of nowhere once they find out you got those tickets
Wow, that's weird, but cool!
Enjoy man
Pretty cool! I'm sure you'll have a blast
Ben and Mudbone, not only would I invite you in, I'd even introduce you to my friends
Congrats! Should be a killer show! A really nice gift too, but yeah, that would have hit me sideways as well?
LoL you guys... We used to joke with friends about eating donuts with cream..
Great to hear Guitarreo. She still cares about a friend who spent 9.5 years.. wow thats a long long time. Enjoy the show!!
That's a nice present mate, it's cool that you got it. Have fun on that concert
