I've just been watching some videos of a 13/14 year old kid who not only plays guitar impressivley, but sings really well too and all the covers he's done are done by ear (including transposing multiple guitar tracks onto a single guitar). But like anything in life there are people who are able to pick things up much easier than others. So when i see an awesome guitarist i get inspired but when it's just a little kid who is a bit of a wizard it does sorta make you thing "man, that just isn't fair!". This isn't to put down the kid in question, in fact all the best to them. But when you sit down to practice whatever technique has been kicking your teeth in for months sometimes a bit of envy does creep in. It's at those times when inspiration tends to leave me. Truth is, after seeing some of the youtube wizards it does set a fire in me to practice harder, because here at GMC i've come to believe that with a bit of blood, sweat and time, i can reach any goal i set.
