Easy access to all frets including up high. Smooth, natural blues tone. Minimum to no buzz. Only issue is it balances out flat naturally in the lap when playing, so make classical playing (with the neck upwards) a bit harder. To go with it, PodHD500 and DT50 2x12 Amp - this is a dream match made in heaven. Automatically syncs with each other and sounds awesome for so many different tones - rock, blues, jazz, metal, etc. Even as a bass guitar tone and effects. Digital front end / Tube backend! The sad part about that one is that I didn't really need the money at that time as I had just started my first job as an electrical engineer and was doing ok. Oh well, live and learn I guess, but that's when I decided to start keeping all my guitars. So Story to bring tears to one's eyes. My sob story is not quite as bad. In my early failed attempt to learn guitar when I was 20, I bought a Gibson Dove, but traded it in and got a Martin D-35. Not horrible, but I would have rather kept the Dove. I got my Martin all worked on under my lifetime Warranty a couple years ago. Warranty to Martin means it cost me $500 to do the work, rather than $1,100. After a number of years, even the best maintained acoustic guitars need this kind of work. I owned 2 very old, I mean mid 50's Fender tweed amps. Sold one for a song, and gave the other away. Definitely regret that. I would like to own your Black Beauty. I just like Les Pauls for some reason, I never seem to change in that regard, nothing else seems as good to me.
