Hi,
I'm trying to understand how to do the high note in the first part of the song (The overdriven sustained sound.) It should be something like this but I can't cover it... Thanks |

That's feedback, you would need an amp at pretty high volume
and you should be close by to get caught by feedback. Another way is to "imitate" that effect by playing tapped (or touched) harmonic, you do the bend on G string and then you slightly touch the string at 14th fret, that will give you one octave higher sound (2+12=14). Or you can touch is at 7th fret for 2 octaves higher sound. -------------------- Youtube

I tried to obtain guitar feedback sound watching some videos on youtube but I don't understand anything. Maybe it will be useful a lesson for this effect
