From 1:27 it sounds like a VI-I-III--IV in F major (Dm, F, Am.. (Bb)) Are you talking about the Am at around 1:34? It's not "out" but the lead descends F to E (rather than E up to F on previous two chords) and the piano in the background plays 2nd inversion arpeggio with a B (i.e. E - A - B - C) so you could write Am9, but it's just a passing note as is the F - the background harmony just outlines an Am chord.
