i've been getting into the harmonic minor scale alot lately and one problem i'm having is how to write my riffs to cater to that sound. I see some lessons where i see diminished chords being used, and i've looked them up, but mostly what i find is jazz chords and things that dont really apply to metal. So i guess what i'm asking for is someone to show me some short hand diminished "power chords" that would be used in heavy metal. I saw a modal madness lesson from zolt and the chord progression behind that lesson is a perfect example of what i need to be shown. Can anyone help me please?

I f a chord is diminished then it wouldn't be a power chord. But I guess what you mean is the combination of the two.

I'm planning on doing a lesson on diminished arpeggios but I don't know if that's what you are looking for
