Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

This one is a good choice for you in order to polish your bending technique but also to work on sensibility when phrasing. I notice that there are many bends that are close but not totally on pitch with precision, so you still need to practice focusing on reaching the correct pitches. Besides this, I think that you could put some focus on dynamics, vibrato, and in my opinion adjusting your tone to get a warmer sound that fits better with the backing track / style. You managed to lay off searching for Scully gifs just long enough to learn this lesson, eh Everything's there in the right place, the bending's a high standard and the vibrato is happnin' I'm gonna throw down some of the same advice I usually dish out for all blues takes which is that the elusive blues flow will come with more and more playing. It's hard to describe. It's that effortless snap where a player can be going slow and then just whack out a quick pull-off with vibrato and cut the note dead. None of the technique by themselves are hard but it's putting them together with that slow / fast / slow vibe that bluesmen get which is the challenge. Any phrases using sliding can be worked on to get the slides sounding obvious but not deliberating. You want the listener to hear the slide but not want it to sound laboured in anyway. I have nothing serious to complain. Maybe just a few moments where bend didn't get to perfect pitch 9just a few cents). Aside from this, there is the "blues factor" Ben mentioned. It's almost impossible to explain but it is something that is happening in your playin at the moment, so I'm not even a bit worried and will simply track your progress through another years.
