For example, Im talking about wide heavy aggressive vibrato. Like Zakk Wylde wide, I use D'Addario 10's on a Floyd Rose (hate Floyd Rose bridges these days) and the string tension is okay, but vibrato becomes a little difficult especially wide vibrato.

A lot ofprofessional Guitarist with amazing vibrato such as Marco Sfogli an Italian Guitarist, and many Japanese Guitarist (Leda, Syu, Takayoshi Ohmura) use 9's for easy control. As I bend up and try and come back down to raise back up the tension fights it hard.

Do you guys alter string gauge to make wide vibrato easier? Or is it over practice and time that it becomes either easier or the fingers get stronger, Ive been trying to practice excellent vibrato for a while now, and I'm a perfectionist. tongue.gif

Okay so I'm interested to transcribe this song, its ridiculously hard to tab out by ear, but the problem is I don't know what tuning it might be in.

The Band "Deluhi" song name "Ivory and Irony" They used to be in drop c# standard, but now they play in Drop C.

I can guess on Drop C# Standard, being one and a half steps down dropping the C# to a B. Its either that or a very heavy tone, listen around the chorus of the song how heavy it sounds. Generally the song is very muffled and is almost impossible to transcribe. :[

Could you let me know what tuning it might be in?

Okay so I'm tabbing out this song, and I think it would be really simple for you guys, its just I don't know much music theory.

It should be easy because there's a video of him playing it close up. Its the chorus of the song, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dW9IRZigIq8 it starts around 4:14, the chords are muffled, hearable and there's a video in front to see where its being played, im just clueless.

The tuning is in c sharp standard which I believe is 1 and a half steps down with the 6th string being a b.

I really cant move forward without these chords, I need help please! tongue.gif
