Hi guys.

I have recorded this album in January 2004 and it has been released just now. This album is an instrumental album written by a very good friend of mine from Croatia. His name is Dean Clea Brkic. He is a singer in a very famous Croatian rock band "Osmi Putnik" but there is no singing on this album. He also mixed my album "Sevdah Metal". He wrote all the music and I played guitar on 10 tracks. Muris Varajic also played on 2 tracks here. This CD is released by "One Records" from Belgrade and unfortunately you can not buy it anywhere else but contacting "One Records" directly. The album has 12 instrumental tracks with 13 narrations between them. There is no silence between tracks, sounds like one big conceptual story (song) with no break and a very interesting concept. Dean wrote a whole story (book) called the same as the album "The Quarterworlds of Fantasia", something like "Lord of the rings". There is also a theatre performance being prepared based on the story using the music from this CD.

On Dean's myspace profile you can hear the 5 min. teaser from the album.

Thanks mate. Only the first track on his playlist is the teaser from this album. The rest "where he sings in Croatian" is from his previous records.

Awesome work man! One day I hope I'll be as good as you guys. biggrin.gif

I wrote in the first post. Distribution is not covering any country other than Serbia and Croatia. "One Records" can send it by post if you contact them and discuss the payment options. Those countries don't even accept paypal payment so you would probably need to pay directly into their bank account. Complicated smile.gif

Correct! biggrin.gif

I listened to the sample and I have to admit that it sounds great. Did you improvise on that album a bit?
Why did it take so long to be published?

Ivan had one solo and some rhythm parts. He actually filled some gaps during mixing. He wasn't initially planed to play but he helped fix some unfinished parts. He is my good friend and a very talented guitarist.

Thanks Kristofer. This record label is not that big but they are growing. I hope they will make a deal with iTunes soon. I will let you know if this happens soon.

I did improvise a bit on solos but all the main melodies were written by Dean. He sang them to me and I recorded them by what I heard from his singing smile.gif He is a very busy musician and producer so he never found time to sit down and mix his own material until now. Better now then never smile.gif
