Hi GMC mentors,

I want to request for some lesson where you really explain song structure in various styles (heavy & progressive metal most wanted). When I composing my tracks I feel that I miss something in overall composition, sometimes it is bridge section, sometimes pre-chorus.
All we're listening to Metallica, Dream Theater and other great bands, and they have very various tracks in terms of structure and timing.
So it would be nice if you guys can make some video speech lesson with examples on that topic.

Greetings from Ukraine

Hi Danyl! Great topic!

I've been covering this type of composing topics at my live video lessons many times. The best way to learn about structures is analyzing your favorite music. This will give you ideas about structures but also about the theory behind composing and arrangements.

If you are interested, I can guide you during this analysis at my personal board.

Cheers!

Gab.-
