New Headphone, Any Recommandations?

Hi there,

I'm looking for a new headphone for plugging into my guitaramplifier to save the good relationship I have with my neighbours. I was wondering if some of you got any recommendations, things to look for, do's and dont's, etc. I used to have a wireless headphone, but never had a lot of fun with it cause of all the noise it produced and flat batteries when I needed it and the bad quality of sound.

I'd like to spend about 50 euro. I know Sennheiser used to be a good brand, but I don't know if they are still good and affordable. Maybe some other brands are recommended? Would it make sense to buy a DJ-headphone?

Any tips would be highly appreciated!

Anyone Knows The Boss Me-70 Is Good?

Hi there,

Since a year I'm playing in a band and I have a problem with increasing my volume when I play a solo. I have some effectpedals that help me a bit with it, but still I think it's not sufficient.
I was looking at the Boss ME-70 and the the salesman in the guitar store was really enthousiastic about it.
Of course he is also trying to sell something so I don't know if I can trust his words.
Does anyone have any experience with this one?

I assume the GT-10 is better, but since that one is more expensive this is not an option for me.

Buying A New Guitar

Hi there,

I'm planning to buy a new guitar in about a couple of weeks.
What are the things to look for to know if it's a good guitar? (except the price ).
At the moment I'm playing on a RichWood Stratocaster. It was a good guitar to start with, but now I'm looking for something with more quality and a warmer sound. I bought the RW cause it was cheap and it was my first Electric guitar.

I like to play Rock music. No metal or shredding, but more rock like U2, Pink Floyd, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, etc.

I plan to spend about 400 euro.

Any tips? Some recommanded brands? Other things to look for (picks, markers)?

Beginner Problem - How To Start Solo Without Stopping The Music

Hello,

I'm a beginning solo guitar player and I'm facing a problem which I think more people have encountered. With the band I'm in we're playing U2's song One. The song begins slowly and at the end we're building to a climax. I'd like to play a solo at that point, but when I stop playing the chords there's a 'hole' in the music. I was wondering if there are any people who can give me some tips on how to fill the gap. I assume there are more people who have this problem so if anyone can help me I'd be really glad. Maybe a link to a video lesson can help me as well.
