Xp- Search Keeps Opening!

Hey guys- does anybody know any reason why whenever i double click a folder (my docs, my music etc) in XP it opens another window displaying the search feature. I can open the folder by right-clicking and selecting explore, or open- but double-clicking results in the search popping up. This just started happening today...any suggestions?

Same thing happens to me, i just have gotten used to right clicking, i couldnt ever figure it out.

I've seen this before. Try this.

Goto: Start -> Run and type CMD [hit enter]

Type in the following: regsvr32 /i shell32.dll [hit enter]


Close out, and see if that helped.
