What about the movie School of Rock? The guitar work ain't nothing special, but it's still a great movie. Jack Black is a legend.

Wah.. love Airplane! It's so sick, and dueling banjos (though there's one banjo and one guitar) is a great scene in a teriffic movie!!

And guess what, I never saw Spinal Tap, I have to get it then.

Great list! biggrin.gif

Almost famous is really cool. Man, when they are on the bus and then it starts to play Led Zeppelin...

But the film, "Stranger the Fiction" literally made me buy a fender stratocaster.
Nothing special about the guitar playing, but it is really a great movie and the message of the movie makes that. Harold crick wanted to have more music in his life, and buys a strat.
At some point, a phrase of the movie just made me think "What if I die tomorrow? Will I never had a fender stratocaster?" rolleyes.gif

The movie rockstar with mark wallberg is quite cool, it's inspired by ripper owens story of becoming the singer of judas priest (and ofc the music was written by Mr. Zakk Wylde)

Crossroads has to be #1 in my book. If that movie doesn't make you pick up a guitar and start playing, nothing will!!!
