Tell me what you guys think of this ;
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Lex...dio?sku=245505/ i've already got a very good laptop to run it into and i'm a computer analyst/programmer so the tech side of things won't be a problem, but do you think its worth the price tag ? -------------------- The Gear Box:

Well the Omega was about 300 UK Sterling when it was first released a few years ago. So 200USD for it is a pretty good price even accepting that it is a bit long in the tooth. Lexicon hardware reverbs btw are some of the best regarded in the industry and the Pantheon software ones here are v good. The mic pre-amps are also good for this price range.
Just make sure that there are no issues with either the make of laptop or with the sequencer you use reported on the relevant forums. I think it's alright. But when it comes to sound interfaces I'd buy one from the local dealer, ever so often there are problems of some sort.

This one looks very good. Nice beefed up features. Other solution is EMU0404 USB, that has better converters and better bundled software among other things, but I reckon this one has better reverbs.
