Hey guys, so, last week i took the pickups out of my Flying V, the bridge was a bareknuckle "the mule" that sounds just incredible, i took it out because i want that same pickup on my new signature guitar, i think is exactly what the new guitar needs, and i took the neck because i didn't really like the pickup, it's a dimarzio FRED that i have tried both on bridge and on neck on a ton of guitars but it just doesn't do it for me.

So i'm thinking now, i have the strat, that one sounds vintage a single-coily, the cabaret (my new LP-like model) will sound vintage and warm too, bareknuckle on the bridge and SD alnico pro II on the neck, so should i make the flying V also vintage?

Maybe not right?, i'm thinking i might turn the V into a heavy monster, but i don't know much about high output or agressive sounding pickups, what do you guys recommend?

I would suggest the Zakk Wylde ESP Signature pups suit nicely for a Flying V. It would scream!

Those Barenuckles pickups sound dirtier and awesome from what i've heard, but never tried them myself.
