GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Gmc Meeting

Posted by: Tolek Feb 7 2009, 08:17 PM

Hey GMC!
Some of you may know, that chast and me are planning a GMC meeting. In order to keep some structure in our organisation, we ask to post only the place you live and the country you could go to. Less is better than much in this case.
I personally think that we´re going to meet somewhere in Germany or France. smile.gif

Tolek

PS: I live in Luxembourg and could travel to Germany, France or maybe England.

Posted by: ZakkWylde Feb 7 2009, 08:21 PM

I live in germany and I COULD go to any country that's arround germany...not sure if I would travel to the west end of France or the east end of poland though...

Posted by: chast Feb 7 2009, 08:42 PM

I live in Germany aswell.
And I would travel to any country around Germany though not to the end west end of France or something like that.
So it's the same for me as for ZakkWylde.

Posted by: Velvet Roger Feb 7 2009, 09:17 PM

I live in The Netherlands, and would travel to Belgium, Germany, France (not far south).

Sleep: a bed highly preferred, something less is survivable though smile.gif

Posted by: utak3r Feb 7 2009, 09:21 PM

I live in Poland (100km from Berlin though wink.gif ). For me it could be Poland, Germany, Czech...

Posted by: fatb0t Feb 7 2009, 09:26 PM

Any country on the planet, I want to travel.

Posted by: superize Feb 7 2009, 09:31 PM

I live in Sweden and places i could go to is Sweden,Norway,Finland, Denmark Germany but i dont think i can travell anywhere to far away

I would propobly only come if its in sweden.....(dont have the money to travell)

Posted by: Tomas Santa Clara Feb 7 2009, 11:24 PM

Lisbon Portugal

i cant go anywere sad.gif

would be awesome if it would be held here if people can travel

Posted by: berko Feb 7 2009, 11:29 PM

For me Austria, Germany, Czech Republic and the Benelux states are O.K As well as England but only the south part of it.

EDIT: Piotr's idea would be even more awesome (for me at least). If he can provide such a great place to jam and concerning that Poland is fairly cheaper to anyone compared to Western-European countries (incl. Germany) than that could be the right place.

For me a mat and a sleeping bag is more than enough (and I can bring both)

Posted by: David Wallimann Feb 8 2009, 12:00 AM

I'm in the States, but would consider traveling to France if it's over there...

Posted by: Oxac Feb 8 2009, 12:54 AM

Sweden. Depending on when the event occurs I could probably travel around the northern part of europe.

Posted by: Fsgdjv Feb 8 2009, 03:17 AM

I live in Sweden. While I'd prefer it being in Sweden or somewhere in Scandinavia, I might be able to go to most part of Euroupe (as long as it's not to far south) given the right timing and if I happen to be in a good financial situataion laugh.gif

Posted by: Canis Feb 8 2009, 03:19 AM

I live in Norway, and could probably travel to any part of the northern europe. Allthough time and money is the biggest problem for me..

Posted by: audiopaal Feb 8 2009, 03:41 AM

I live in Norway..
I'd could go to most parts of Europe I think smile.gif

Posted by: SonofDestiny Feb 8 2009, 09:34 AM

Holland. I would travel to England, France, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg.

Posted by: Siggum Feb 8 2009, 09:48 AM

I live in Denmark, i could go to sweden/Norway/Germany/London

Posted by: coloneldrew Feb 8 2009, 10:40 AM

Berlin, London, Oslo, some place in Sweden I could do.

Posted by: kaznie_NL Feb 8 2009, 02:53 PM

Holland, Holland and maybe Germany/Belgium.

Posted by: enforcer Feb 8 2009, 08:55 PM

I am in Istanbul I wont mind going anywhere in Eastern Europe, but going to Western Europe will be a little pain in my arse.

Posted by: Ivan Milenkovic Feb 8 2009, 09:36 PM

It would be a lot easier to come to Germany (Minchen - more near, Berlin - more far), I live in Serbia. But if the meeting were really to take place I would seriously consider Paris as well.

Posted by: Muris Varajic Feb 9 2009, 01:09 AM

I'm fine with most of the Europe and even USA,
as long as it fits my schedule. smile.gif

Posted by: utak3r Feb 9 2009, 01:12 AM

So I can see Berlin would be a good choice for most of us... right? wink.gif

Posted by: Ivan Milenkovic Feb 9 2009, 01:19 AM

I would say yes from my side man. Berlin, Frankfurt any city in Germany would be cool.

Posted by: Bogdan Radovic Feb 9 2009, 01:45 AM

Germany sounds cool to me also!! But for us here in Serbia its not that easy to get visa's but It would be so cool to go to a GMC meeting! smile.gif

Posted by: OrganisedConfusion Feb 9 2009, 04:51 AM

I live in uk and i would happily travel anywhere. Germany would be fine but i really dont mind.

Posted by: Jesse Feb 9 2009, 08:57 AM

Posted by: ErikEklund Feb 9 2009, 09:38 AM

I know, but it's kinda an individual definition of Eastern Europe, that's why I ask.

Posted by: Tolek Feb 9 2009, 03:29 PM

Guys, please stop discussing in this topic. The other GMC meeting topic is for discussions, this one is ONLY for residences. smile.gif Thank you.
We´ll see which city is ok when starting a poll. I think that Germany should be ok for everyone. After some research on the attraction of every big city, we´re going to post a poll.

Posted by: coffeeman Feb 9 2009, 03:55 PM

I live in Colombia , and I would love to fly to Germany.

Posted by: Jose Mena Feb 10 2009, 04:46 PM

I live in Miami, most likely I would travel to France, my wife has relatives there, that are telling us to visit, we'd kill 2 birds in one shot.

Posted by: wrk Feb 10 2009, 05:13 PM

Live in Paris, but i am open for every location .. i agree that Berlin would be a good choice. Berlin is an event on it's own and quite cheap compared to other capital cities.

... and it's time to go back home smile.gif

Posted by: Vasilije Vukmirovic Feb 10 2009, 05:22 PM

So this is really going to happen.smile.gif I would like to come to GMC meeting if I can get visa, I am from Serbia!

Posted by: Joruus Feb 10 2009, 07:50 PM

I live in the Netherlands, could go to most places in europe

Posted by: Mrblomme Feb 11 2009, 03:10 PM

I have a great idea.
Why dont we go to Germany, to Köln?
They have a huge musicshop over there http://www.musicstore.com , in fact it's the largest musicshop in whole of Europe.

If we could get there a lot of guys could have a look in the shop because they're pretty cheap.

Posted by: SonofDestiny Feb 11 2009, 03:24 PM

Sounds good to me Mrblomme smile.gif Maybe we can even get a group discount! biggrin.gif

Hahaha would be awesome. I vote for Köln (or Cologne for people who don't know what Köln is smile.gif). There's an airport and a trainstation if I'm not mistaken.

Aw, Köln is awfully hard to get to from here. Apparently you can only fly to Berlin from Copenhagen?

I think so.

NO, STOOOOOOP!!! NO discussions in this topic, as I already said.

I already thought of Köln and I think that this would be an awesome solution. But we´ll see that in another topic.
