I'm not that happy with the final result, I wasn't on pitch all the time , I forgot the lyrics, but it was late last night so I decided to uploaded.

Here it is, what do you think?

Hey mate! Nice cover. I like your voice, it's true that there are tuning issues but I like your interpretation and the feeling that you gave to the song. smile.gif

No words mate. My favorite track from one of my favorite bands and an amazing version. You are a great singer! I would like to know a bit more about how your singing journey has been. When did you start singing? Did you study? Just practice? I would really like to know. smile.gif

Coming from a guy that has an APC tattoo, that means a hell of a lot! biggrin.gif Thanks man! My favorite tune, most definitely!

Hmm... singing, well, I was doing it when I was a kid, trying to imitate various things I heard around me and found myself singing most often than not smile.gif In 2008 I took my first real singing classes and then continued, as a modern vocal technique seminar organizer with my dutch friends that taught me. We brought the Estill Voice Training System in Romania and then in 2011 I became a full time vocalist in Days of Confusion.

Otherwise, in the last year, I have spent a lot of time singing and playing the guitar in the same time. Got a list of about 60 songs that I want to play - I can play about 10-15 so far biggrin.gif But, hey, there's still time, right? There's Incubus and Foo Fighters on the list so, stay tuned biggrin.gif

Thanks my friend. And your take was mind blowing, your tone is amazing and you sing perfect while playing the guitar, please keep the acoustic covers coming, they are a true motivation for me to keep practicing.

I love watching people sing whilst playing the acoustic guitar. You both were awesome and it was good watching two different styles! smile.gif

Nice story mate. I really like singing, I always record demos and create melodies for my band, sing backing vocals live but I have never taken it too seriously. I think that the next step is going for some classes.

Thank you very much mate! I think that it could've turned out better - as I forgot to breathe in some important spots and the whole thing didn't have as much strength in those particular parts as it could've had. I know where they are and I will re-record being more careful at those. This is just a preliminary take wink.gif I was really curious to listen to myself playing and singing this one, so I did it like this.

I will make a movie for ya in which I will explain a bit about how to set your breathing spots in a song in respect to verses - I think it's a very important thing to know, so would you be up for for that? smile.gif

Definitely man! For me, singing has opened a whole new world in the perspective of playing the guitar, as well! I mean, it's easier and easier to sing something and then transpose on the guitar, which I think is the most important liaison between the mind and the hands. What do you have in mind in respect to classes? Any particular system that you know about and would like to try?

That would be more than awesome, that is a weakness that I have I always breath at the wrong moments so I always end with out air to finish the phrases. Awesome amigo, I'm looking forward to it.
