GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Master Luthier Anyone?

Posted by: MHD Pickups Feb 23 2013, 03:20 AM

I have a very dear friend who is an amazing no BS luthier. to give you a little about him he started back when you had to make your own tools. Yeah been doing it for a while. Anyway I was gonna see if he would have a bit of time and any interest from you guys in inviting him here. His name is Roman Rist and he is absolutely amazing in some of the tutorials he does such as stuff like this

Or this one. Yes it is an Epi but just shows the care in which every guitar should have.

So let mne know.

Can't believe I missed this post! YES PLEASE!!! Do invite him over to GMC smile.gif Having a master luthier around would be most handy. As a forum search will reveal, questions about setup are a constant.

Some really great info in those pages! The guy seems to really know (and love) what he's doing!

That would be awesome mate!
As a Tech myself I'm always looking for others to help me with more 'proper' Luthier-ing!!!

I have talked with Roman and he is down for it. He is super busy at the moment so it may be a bit before you see him.

That's cool, better to be busy than not have any work at all!!
