A very special guitar was used by the beatles on the song "LET IT BE", it was a prototype for a guitar that would come to be known as the "All Rosewood" TELECASTER. The song has gone on to become legendary as has the tele. The story of both is forever enshrined in rock history.
Peter jackson (The Lord of The Rings director) is putting out a documentary on Fab Four and i'm looking forward to it. I dig "rock docs". Anyone else? Prototype of the all 'Rosewood' Tele (not the Telecaster in general).
The first Tele was originally named the Broadcaster (Fall, 1950) but there was a copyright issue with Gretsch (Broadkaster drums) and Fender changed the name to Telecaster in 1951. There were a few "no"casters made before the official decals said Telecaster. -------------------- - Ken Lasaine

As rosewood gets more and more rare due to legislation, these "rosewood guitars" are an even more rare breed in terms of materials.
