Hi Gab

I signed up for Bootcamp
I’m not a Shred fan but I think it can be good to my progression.
I haven’t put anything online yet, I’ll do it quietly when I have some time.

The BOOGIE ROCK lesson has 90% is here.
It lacks precision, I am hesitating on some sections, I still have to work a lot but I take a lot of pleasure

Hi MisterM! Joning Todd's bootcamp is a great move! I think that it will bring some cool fresh air to your practice.

Your work on this lesson is going very well. I feel that you are still not comfortable at this tempo, so the groove is not flowing naturally. But your technique here looks very good, I only think that you need more time of practice. What do you think?

Great job mate!! Congrats on reaching 120 bpm for this one!!

This is getting better! It's not an easy job to make those lines sound tight and clean. You can play all the parts with good timing, and most of the notes sound clean and clear. I just hear a few unwanted noises but nothing very serious.

I would dedicate some more time to polish everything at this tempo (cleanness, dynamics) but I would also try some minutes using higher tempos to then get back and feel more comfortable at 120, what do you think?

Hi Gab

Today 130 BPM ok - I've a nice day for guitar
I will post a new take in a few days

Also I work on Hybrid picking ghost notes 100% speed
The final section is hard but I feel better

When I look at 00"59" to 01"02" I tell myself "what a horrible technique". blink.gif
The amplitude of my right hand is disproportionate.
I will try to learn as original lesson : hybrid picking

Hi mate!

It's true that the part that you marked needs some adjustment, but I have to say that the overal feel of this take is really cool. I love your groove and dynamics here, very catchy, very enjoyable. I like your tone, and I like your feel here. You just need to isolate that fast passage and work on it, maybe over metronome.

Nice to know that you have a good day for guitar, enjoy it mate!!! smile.gif

Hi Gab

Thank you for advices
I will practise with metronome during severals days
My right hand position is better with Hybrid Picking

What do you think about this take + metronome ?

Hi mate,

This sounds very well at this tempo. I don’t notice any relevant issue in this video.

Hi Gab,

I need to break my routine.
Boogie Rock, Vivaldi Arpeggios, Hybrid Picking Ghost Notes.
all these lessons require a lot of work.
I decided to make a new take of tasty Etude to progress on the vibratos.

I work since 3 days, it's not prefect, what do you think about it ?

Old take 2015

Hi mate! I watched this one many times and I just have great things to say about your playing here. There are not things that need to be fixed, your playing is top level.

I've also compared the new take with the previous one and let me say that your progress is AWESOME.

Congrats!!!
