After a minute they bored me. What I figured was that the rhythm section was good, but the singer is only so so, nothing special, and oh yes, maybe the big thing is that they would sound a heck of a lot better with a good guitarist in the band. or even a keyboardist, something with some higher timbres added to the mix. Also some better song writing, something that does not sound like I have heard it many times before and did not even care much for it the first time.

I've seen these guys live and I had a GREAT time. Their songs are beautiful and the show was special.

I knew about this band but never gave them a chance. I'm checking this song and they song very unique and weird... not sure if I like it. I need time to digest them.

I think it's worth giving them (Morphine) a fair try. They are unique for sure, but also very good. buena. I've been a fan ever since the mid 90's and am glad to have them in my repertoire.

and now for something completely serious

I had posted this in another thread but it's worth watching.
Here's an entire concert...

Just heard of this band while looking for how to get good direct bass tone.

Royal Blood

2 guys, a drummer and a bassist/vocalist.

The bass players splits his signal to a fuzz bass, then to a 2 distorted guitar amps. (Not sure if that's how he really does it, but found a breakdown on YouTube of how to emulate his tone).

Anyway, these guys are bad ass...
