I am asking you to challenge me! Yes I am! Name me a hard song in the blues/rock/iron maiden like metal genre:D
I will pick out the one that I like the most (not the one that seems the easiest;)). If it's a song that you've played before, please send me a lick to the tabs too!

For Maiden, Phantom of The Opera would be a good choice. Quite an early track, with lots of great riffs and harmony's. Great fun too smile.gif

I agree with the Paschendale and Phantom Of The Opera recommendations, they're great songs to learn, chicks dig Iron Maiden tongue.gif
Also, if you like Judas Priest, learn Painkiller. Its definitely a challenge worth... challenging smile.gif

My vote on the Painkiller as well. Legendary song, and interesting solo.

I'm also shocked and appaled lol. Rob Halford's voice back then was incredible. Painkiller in my opinion is the greatest metal song ever and I've said it many times but it sums up metal with one song. It is absolutely incredible and the vocals are earth shattering lol. Without Judas Priest metal wouldn't be the same. Iron Maiden are heavily inspired by Priest for a start. My jaw has hit the table. I have never heard a guitarist say that Painkiller isn't a good song before. Ivan loves the blues and funk but he realises that Painkiller is an imperative song to music. Not many bands stay around for over 30 years at the top.

Faster than a laser bullet, louder than an atom bomb, Chromium plated boiling metal, brighter than a thousand suns biggrin.gif

You can't beat it. biggrin.gif
