As usual, the Brits' are the odd balls here, again.
 Decimal separator is ',' while thousand separator is '.' in most of the world. In Britain and other english countries plus a few others it's the other way around.

In holland you'd write a thousand like 1000 pr 1.000, but not 1,000 that'd mean just one...

In Czech Rep. (and all of our neigbour countries) its the same as in UK

Here we write only commas for decimals, no one writes any dots or anything

I just heard that a new standard in Britain for guitars is that there will be no more dots on guitar necks since they will all be replaced with commas.
