This is a solo I made after listening to Pablos hirojoshi scale solo. All feedback good or bad is welcome. smile.gif Also recently iv started sort of learning how to record and mix and stuff on reaper, so feedback on the sound of the recording is also very welcome.

Cheers

I've included a better version of the solo. That's what "hirojoshi song 2" is.

Nice! smile.gif Has an exotic feel to it and sounds cool.

But I think the guitars clashed a bit. They are a bit undistinguishable from eachother which can sound a bit messy.
Some EQ would help.

I put the two lead guitar tracks to opposite sides of the speaker and did a bit with an EQ and a gate and iv got a second recording of the solo which I think sounds a bit clearer.

Do people think I should try and write and record a song based around this?

The guitars sound more distinct. You did some panning too, which helped too smile.gif
