Don't know how could You achieve bit spicier tone, like Muris - maybe just a little bit more gain, would do? Yes it is nice when it is played clean, but there is a bit more treble in your playing than Knopfler uses... I'd either add some more bass in EQ, a tiny hint of reverb, and also roll the gain up a TINY bit to get a slightly crunchy sound, but not much!
