I posted this in the other thread as well but felt it would be a bit "cleaner" here not having to go through the pages and such.
Here is what I have so far for the structure. Keep in mind that this will probably change a little bit as I work out the backing. Should have it together within the next few days. 
Rhythm Guitar
Chast,Xicoria: intro and first verse/chorus
Superize,Kaz: second verse/chorus
Wollace03,Sense: third verse/chorus
skennington: outro for solo's
Lead Guitar
Outlaw2112,Pizzaoro: 25 sec each during intro (51 seconds long)
Botoxfox,Nick325: (solo begins at 2:59 and ends at 3:47, this gives them roughly 23 sec ea)
tjchep,DeepRoots,Tolek,Enucleation: (solo's during outro beginning at 4:44 and extending it to 6:20, this would give each 24 sec.
Key's
Siggum
Matt23
Bass

Caelum: first verse/chorus, backing vocals on second chorus
JeroneKole: second verse/chorus, backing vocals on first chorus
split the third verse and both sing chorus

Good to have a structure, but I still don't understand the system ^^

Chast, I want to cover the song but add your own personal touch to it. Once I get the backing up, you will be able to get a better feel for what you can add within the beat if that makes sense.

Yes Pizz, or vice versa. You guys will basically be soloing over the intro.

Oopps, sorry man. You can record however works best for you. I'll just need the takes without backing for the mix.

I think this would be a good idea guys. That way your in the flow throughout and I can mix the way I described in the initial post.
And no deadline. I don't want to rush anybody so we'll just leave it open at this point.

Sure thing. I'll see if I can record something tomorrow, otherwise it will be next week or...yeah, it's a bit uncertain at the moment. Not even sure I have the right cables.

I wish this would hurry up and get here... I keep messing with my solo, Im editing one tenth of a second because i heard a little noise i dont like... a noise you cant hear when played with the backing track

Thats a bummer, Matt.
By the way Sken, the soloists, do we need to wait until everyone else has recorded the takes so we know what the rhythm will be? I mean I'm sure our rhythm guitarists/key/bass players will have some fun with the rhythms rather than just playing the original part.

Ok guys, heres the drums. We'll have to wait for Sig to get back from his trip for the bass. I brought the countdown a little lower in the mix so not to confuse you with the opening symbols. Also I'll upload an index guitar to give you an idea.
Make it your own. Tempo 112 bpm, key of G so the same as the original but little things can make it so much different as you'll here in my opening as well. I'll get a thread opened for uploads only.

I'm not sure I'll be able to record vocals perfectly before the rythm track is laid properly. Makes it all a lot easier... otherwise I may be a bit out of key

Your right Caelum, you guys recording vocals wait til the rhythm is done. Will be much better in time and will also allow you to add your own fills.

Yep, and hitting the notes properly will be a lot easier with a rythm track than just a drum track for me

Here's one of the better one's i've seen. It's close if not spot on.
Btw, I've posted in the opening post what everyone should focus on. Kaz, I have you on the second verse and chorus. Record the entire verse and chorus and I'll split them up in the mix.

Exactly Superize. That way I can mix it in the best and if you have video, I can edit those as well as long as they are not recorded in some special program. If they are, I'll let you know where to cut.

Wanted to give you guys an update as to where we are at. As you already know, drums are done and i've recorded a "guide guitar" over the track for the bass line. Siggum has the file and is working the bass out. As soon as he is finished, the track will be posted in an "uploads" thread and everyone can then start uploading their parts.

Guys, I have wrestled with the drums and bass quite a bit. Take a listen and see if it's something you can work with. Theres a few mistakes but nothing major. Siggum and myself were having some issues matching tempo in our DAW's so I used a plugin for bass as well. Keep in mind the track is extended to accommodate the solo's.
Let me know what you think.

The length of the backing has been extended to accommodate the number of players so adding another would cut into each section. Hang tight and let's see if someone drops out. If they do, your in man!

I am waiting my recording stuff to arrive. I tried to record using mic and pluggin the guitar directly in computer, but it sounds ugly.
I dont know how much time you can wait. I talk to Matt (from Matt Music) and he asked me to wait and if next wednesday the goods did not arrived, he will send me another package.
So this can take more 15 days... if its too long, I am sorry to say that I will not be able (or if someon has another idea of how to record, I am open ears.

I could do a little piece, like a verse and together with some people the chorus, but I'm not realy excited about it
My singing is OK, but not realy good So: I can do it, if you find other people, I'm just as happy with them singing

I'd say by the number of uploads we have, yes upload a rhythm take, verse and chorus.
May even need you for a lead role. Be sure to include your initial or name in your take so I can manage the uploads a bit better. Thanks guys!

Im sorry skenny but i probably cant record for a week. My keyboards downstairs and my computers upstairs so i was hoping just to record onto my dads laptop but hes going away for a week and taking his laptop with him. If i have time i will do the necessary cable untangling and take my keyboard upstairs to record, but ive got exams in about a week so i probably wont be able to.
