I hate digging trenches, if I do anymore today I won't be able to move my arms this afternoon, let alone teach guitar. I should have put this on the "what guitarists shouldn't do" thread biggrin.gif
Not as fit as I used to be that's for sure. Trench is 14m long and has to be a minimum of 600mm deep sad.gif

It's stuff like this that made me vow never to end up on a building site again !!

I never had to dig a trench like that but I had enough sore arm / hands / back situations... life's too short for that stuff !!!

Did you get a locate? Man that looks like easy digging there , hardly any rocks, although I do see a few, I burried a cable for my sattelite dish last year and the ground was full of rocks, especially where I had to cross the driveway,oh and tree roots suck too, what a pain dry.gif

Well I found the water mains with my shovel anyway so after I fixed that little f#*kup I finished digging the trench. If I didn't have to go to work this afternoon I'd be all over my beer fridge.

Shovel and crowbar, there was shale to break up at the bottom of the trench. Yes I'm glad it's done, now to restore feeling in my hands and get back to playing guitar smile.gif
