Hey everone!

I've been reading GMC for the past couple of months, but only now have I decided to join. I'm 16 (17 in three days and I've been playing guitar for about a year and a half. I take lessons with an instructor, and would say I'm somewhere around the intermediate level.

Some of my favorite bands include Symphony X, Blind Guardian, Kamelot, Edguy, Avantasia, Therion, Nightwish, Epica, Van Halen, Angra, Rhapsody of Fire, Hammerfall, Angra, and other Power/Progressive/Symphonic metal bands.

Thanks everyone for the welcomes! Yeah, no one in my area seems to like Power/Prog metal. It's all the screamo stuff and Top 40
