Hey there!

Well done! You've managed to make colosal improvements on all aspects we've mentioned in previous take feedback. Notes are being played longer, better conected with each other. You focus on bends pitch a lot and the results are good...just the final bend should have been pitched up to a correct pitch faster...you've stretched it for too long before it reaches the top.

I can notice vibrato came in as well. I like the fact you do not overvibrate the notes. Another bonus points are for fixing some minor wrong notes from previous take.

Tming is not perfect but close and visibly better in this take.

One thing taht is missing but it's a kind of thing that comes through time and is probably hard to learn with a single lesson - dynamics control. Your notes sound even. There is no visible contrast between accents and fills. Dynamics control is one of aspects of becoming pro player. It's a matter of gain from the amp and gain from the hand proportion so you would clearly hear when you hit hard and when you only touch the string with a pick. That's one thing missing but don't worry - I'm sure you'll get there with your current attitude to playing and practise smile.gif

Congratulations on your progress

Hi Petr,

Nice to see you still working on this lesson! smile.gif

I can hear that you are playing the whole thing at tempo, with good timing. If it weren't by the bends that don't reach the correct pitch, I could say that this take is very close to be mastered.

Your bending technique is not bad, but most of the bends aren't reaching the correct pitch so this needs special attention. I think that the best is to dedicate some diary time to work on each bend of the lesson. You can try playing the target note and then bending to it for some times until you get tired of bending or of getting the correct pitch!

Besides bending, there are two elements that also could be worked:

Vibrato: You tend to play it too soon, and it tends to be weak or don't go with the backings groove. Play along with the original lesson to get the feel of Darius's vibrato.

Dynamics: Just listen to the first phrase from the original lesson paying attention to the intensity of the notes. There is a world there! Try it in your playing, starting with 1 phrase at a time.

Ok mate, that's all by now, keep on the hard work!

Hi Petr, sorry for being late to the party!

This take is definitely more confident in overall delivery. Less hesitation and more decisiveness.

The bending is getting better but string bending is quite a demanding technique to really master so, as to be expected, there is still room for improvement in regards to getting the right pitch. In some places the pitch is not quite right - either too sharp or too flat. But in general, you're making much improvements in this area.

As Darius mentioned, your vibrato is getting more of a chance to appear now, which is a goo thing. The vibrato is only subtle in this lesson anyway as it is really a bending focused lesson. But keep up the good work both your vibrato and your bending!
