Hey

Okey, so I thought I'd share my opnion regarding this pedal by Boss.

First off I have not tried this at a live gig or at higher volumes as I'm not in a band and haven't that the chance so as far as this review goes it's for bedroom rockin'.

So what's in it?

There's 6 knobs to fiddle with controlling; Drive, Bottom, Tone, Level, Attack Shape and Heavy Octave. This allows for really high level of custimization. And there's 22 different distortion types and footswitch.

How low can you go?

Extremly low. Between the attack shape, drive and heavy octave knobs alone you can get a super-duper heavy sound which obsoletes the need for detuning. This is ideal for heavy riffs.

Not heavy then..?

As I said there's loads of different distortions and so far I havent found any problems gettin' the right distortion effect wether it be blues, 80s distortion, numetal or death metal.

Extra features?

You can save 4 different distortion which you customized in case you need to change between heavy dist and less heavy. There's also the switches which allows you switch between clean and distorted as well as a switch for switchin between the memory slots.

Any problems?

So far I haven't encountered any problems with this pedal except when the batteries went dead but well.. tongue.gif

I give it a solid 10.

Yea I thought it would be decent to add some answer-threads instead of just question-threads if you put it that way biggrin.gif
