appreciate the honesty, could u point out the times when my timing is off so I could try to work on it . and yea I am tryng to find a great rhythm rock/metal tone something like that Metal 90's tone mr "Darius wave" had in that lesson = ) tone was a killer

Your solos/melodylines are actually more in sync (or in time if you will) than the rhythm guitar it sounds.
It sounds like the rhythm guitar is a tad late from beginning to end in my opinion.
However, I might be mistaken as well because of the loudness of the sologuitar. It drowns the rhythmguitar which makes it hard to listen properly. You should try to get a more balanced mix. The drums seems to have a few misplaced hits as well, which can also add to the confusion. This might actually lead me to believe it's "worse" than it really is.. I like the song, I just want you to work more on the details

thanks, as far as my rhythm tone I think I was using my lead tone for the rhythm and I think that might of had too much gain or something like out of control distortion alittle

but Im using a ME-25 boss multi effect pedal for the tone ... and could use some help with building a good riffing heavy rock kind of tone like maybe a John petrucci or something = ) but any advice on getting that tone would help am not sure if i should take reverb out of my heavy rhythm tone

IM KIDDING!! he didnt say that .... but he did say that my timing was ruining my music" so I think if anything I should really get my rhythm timing down first........ I've worked on my lead timing alot but my rhythm I havent worked on *enough*

so I've been working on my rhythm timing playing to a metronome this week and hope to see results soon

Am also working on a song is not finished yet ... have to go back and do a section over because the rhythm was a "Tad" off lol so anyway hope you will drop by again when its done

Well, if you were going for free jazz/metal, you nailed it. But if you were actually trying to play "in time" it's quite a bit more than a "Tad" out of synch/beat, sadly. The good news is this is simple to fix with some metronome practice.

Can't wait to hear your improved version:) Record a bit of your rythm track against drums without lead so we can hear any unintended timing drift. Always try to count, 1,2, 3, 4, so you can lock to the backing and play on beat, when intending

It's better to back off the distortion a little and double track (or even quad track, if you play REALLY tight) the guitars for a fuller sound. I'm not familiar with the ME-25, but I can look into it a little and see if I can help you
If you use reverb for your rhythm, be sure to use very little when playing riff based rock. If not it might get muddy.
Leaving a tad of reverb on the tracks can sometimes be good though

Haha, we never said your music sucked. But you need to tighten up your rhythm playing.
And practicing with a metronome is the best way to do that, so I'm glad that's what you're doing

Hey Cosmin well I am still practicing with a metronome as we talked about I am also getting ready to practice with the metronome here tonight before I go back into finishing this track im working on

Ill be honest playing in sync rhythm is still kind of tricky for me sometimes especially when messing with powerchords one thing that i feel might be helpful is putting accents on the on beat

Don't forget to "Count Time". I"ve had students that simply didn't count time and as a result had really trouble playing "on beat".Eventually, it will just happen by itself, till then you gotta count it
