Hi and welcome to GMC. I have never used that lesson plan but you can search lessons by difficulty and find what looks easy to understand. Later as you progress you will see that the theoretical part is really important and you might want to go back and look at all your covered stuff from a different point of view. Start with some simple exercise lessons and move on to ones where the melody and proper solo structures are the main topic. I wish you good time here at GMC and hope you will find many great lessons for yourself.

Welcome Laserwolf!
One thing that is helping me a lot to improve my playing is learning a bit of theory, I don't know what your current level is, so maybe this is some advide you already know; have you learnt the pentatonic scale in all positions across the fretboard (cages)? That opened a whole new world of possibilities in my case, it allows you to play all over the fretboard, improvise over backings, find the key of songs by ear, and also helps learn new licks easier once you recognise the patterns you are playing inside the "cages" and interconnecting them. If you already know pentatonic, then you can add a couple more notes in there and learn the major scale. Take a read and ask about all this in the theory forum, it's really worth it. -------------------- Guitars:

Great advice Fran. When you mentioned pentatonic scale in all positions, my new lesson is published today exactly about what you are mentioning. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/pentat...five-positions/ -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
