Hey all, just joined today, and i looked back through this section of the forums looking for a post about this guitar. I didnt find one looking back about 8 or so pages, so figured i would see if anyone thought this guitar was worth a crap or not. It has some pretty nice features including the neck cpu. Any way, just wanted some comments about it.. Later

I tried it out on launch day, I would say its a great idea and ofcourse its the first run so you are bound to have some problems, the handeling of the guitar was nice, pretty much up to gibson standards. The down fall was that i believe the batteries were dying from being played all day so when i tried to get the tuning back in standard it put me in this wierd tuning which i doubt even is a tuning. I would have to say give it a couple more months to a year for improvments and it will be a awesome guitar. The idea is briliant..but I hate batteries in guitars I have two of them in mine and just hate them! Need for all the time worry of chaging them and everything.. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Call me old fashioned but I'd rather tune myself.

Me too. This guitar seems designed for lazy people that are tone deaf and can't tune a guitar themselves or learn to tune by ear. I think it's cool! So what does that make me? -------------------- My bands homepage

hahaha, lol, personally I'd never use one of these...I think the idea is good....but not beneficial to LEARNING THE INSTRUMENT. It's like automated effect....you use them, but you'll never understand why it works. The understanding of the guitar being tuned in fifths etc...will be gone, and people will take it for granted that the guitar is always in tune. Good idea, bad scene I think it's rather useful for guitarists that are sick and tired from 30 years of tuning behind them. I don't think this is a beginners guitar either and I agree that learning how to tune a guitar is essential. -------------------- My bands homepage
