Anybody seen this? It's 10 minutes long, so sit back and relax. This guy is fast!

I think someone proved that this one was fake, some time ago?
Still mad skills, though ^^
fast, but a waste of time to egt this fast imho
A fake? you just can't believe anything anymore!
Dont think this is a fake actually.. there's some clips of the same guy playing it on tv-shows.
I saw that many times, hes really fast with that song. I'm not sure if this can be called a world record, he is playing one song at this tempo. What if he wants to play some other song?
It`s not fake he done it even on 370bpm (LOL), but he suck at playing music!
" I'm not sure if this can be called a world record, he is playing one song at this tempo. What if he wants to play some other song?"
-Then it will be the biggest fail ever i guess!
He actually can play some other songs. http://www.youtube.com/user/Dellavega
he is in a band actually but this really isnt very musical
Have a look at some old threads. Maybe search for Tiago or whatever his name is. I believe I linked to some topics regarding this video on Petrucciforum.com. I think it was WillJay on there who proved this was a fake. Something about him only picking 15 notes on the video, while there is 20 being played or something similar. Can't remember it anymore.

Here's the link to the thread, by the way. Post 95 or was it 96?
I really like shawn lanes stuff though , I also like MAB though
I bet he can make a good martini with a picking hand that fast!! I cant play it anymore, it was driving my cat crazy!!
Its all good working on speed and technique- but how fast is fast enough? How do you know when you've reached a technical level that is adequate to share your musical ideas? Because lets face it- that's what music is about: making music, not who can spew out the most notes per second.
IMO there alot of guitar players that focus so much on technique that when it comes to writing- they are completly stumped. They are guitar players but still aren't musicians, many of these are happy in their ignorance. They may come up with a few cool ideas but they are ironically limited by the amount of time they spent focusing on technique.
Thats my 2 cents anyway- instead of focusing on technique so much just ask yourself- can i think or produce melodies in my head that are quicker than what i can play? If your answer is yes that turn on the metronome, if the answer is no..then you should learn to think faster
I don't think this is fake.
He is very fast!!!
Muris at the end of Mojo Oro is playing 16 notes at 255bpm if I`m right!! 170 bpm 16th triplets so he isn`t very far from this guy, also all notes are hearable, but this guy kinda mess up sound!
I think he is very fast. I don't think this is fake.
There are people for everything. Of course If you practice 14 hs per day for being the faster guitar player, maybe you don't have time to create music.
So don't ask him about his music, because he has been prepared only for being faster.
So, I congratulate his speed.
Really, I would not lose my time on it
Sounds like a chainssaw when he's playing it at 320 bpm on the E string
he can play as fast as he wants,
all i know is,
my music will emotionally kick his speedings fingers butt!@
He makes it look easy, like his fingers don't even hit the strings, that's fluid playing
