Hello all,

I've just got my first ever guitar today, found this site and it looked like a good place to start learning!

I'm still having trouble working out if my guitar is tuned right or not, so I think I'll be off out tomorrow for an electronic tuner.

Thank you everyone for the mass of replies, wow!

I now have a tuner, it's only a basic one that clips on the guitar head, but it's seems to do the job. I'll get a metronone sorted in the next day or two also.

The dexterity in my left hand isn't great and I'm having a hard time getting the notes I want, but I'm sure my fingers will sort themselves out in time.
