I was going through some spanish guitar songs on youtube and i came across this.I was absolutely stunned
I dont know much about classical guitar but it seems incredibly fast to me.
Check it out
Do you mean how many bpm?
290 bpm 8/16 notes
Amazing technique!
Don't care about bpm's as such but it's just so impressive to watch someone accomplished something that advanced.
Thanks, but i wasn't looking for the bpm,i just wanted to know what other people thought about this video.
It's definitely fast, but I don't like his tone at all, too thin on that speed.
Speed + Tone = Paco de Lucia!
Sweeps always look and sound faster than they are hard to play, but technically, your fingers are already in place for each sweep so you're really not putting much effort into getting that fast sound. Moving from position to position to set up for each sweep is where the bulk of the work is, IMO. The real guage of *fast* in my opinion is scale or syncopation from string to string - that's what really sets a fast player apart from the rest - the ability to put your fingers down as quickly as you can lift them up for each note, accross different string.
Again : IMO, IMO, IMO.
But yes, he's very impressive! If only I could play like that
wow, one can play Yngwie with no pick, and on acoustic...well, maybe only that guy can
Praetorian I think you posted Paco de Lucia with the wrong audio, this is the correct one:
He's great, but guitar doesn't sound very good, if you compare him and Paco, it's like heaven and earth.
Haha it looks like his picking hand fingers are running when he plays really fast
