I started playing guitar when I was 13yrs old and spent the 60's playing lead guitar in a group in the UK, France and Germany. I then teamed up as a Duo with my wife for the next 25yrs.

I want to put some humbuckers in my strat so that I can play clean then whop it into big time overdrive. Are the above pickups acceptable for this?
(I dont want to start routing the guitar out to accomodate Real Humbuckers)
Thank you

Hi,
Does anyone use the the above Sony Vegas 8. I know its an older version but it is cheaper now than the new 10 version and I dont want to pay out £60 or so when the 8 will do for just uploading to 'Youtube' and a second overlay video track.
I would be most gratefull for any comments on this.
Thank you Tony

I have two Strats and thats it so I wondered about putting two seymour duncan hot rails in the bridge and neck for rock and metal type stuff or just part chop it in and get a rock guitar with humbuckers. Obviously cost wise I would prefer to replace the pickups.
Any advice would be very welcome.
Thank you and regards Tony

For some reason I cannot view the lessons in internet explorer 8. I have enabled Java script and I can view youtube video's Ok but some of them I can't. I have the latest flash player etc so there is a setting in my browser somewhere that is not correct. Another strange thing is I downloaded Firefox 3 and everything worked even the lessons but they are jerky.
Has anyone experienced this problem or can you point me maybe in the direction of a solution, it's really frustrating.
Regards Tony

I know there is a review on the forum for the Boss me-70 but it does'nt answer my query. Can anyone tell me if its similar to the Gt8 for example;
When you select an amp model and if there is'nt enough gain/overdrive are you then able to select an overdrive module/ box to increase the the gain of the amp already selected that is to say use the two together as opposed to only being able to select one or the other.
Thanks Tony
