Hey GMC! After a year and a half of playing and advancement, my parents and teacher thought I should get a new guitar. I searched store after store and I finally found one.

It is an ibanez sa. I cant afford anything more expensive but for the buck, this guitar is very good. It is known to be extremely versatile and can accomedate any type of playing. I play all types of msuic so i picked this bad girl up and she screamed. My only problem is that the pickups are not eally my style, they seem really light...not a lot of thump, they might need to be changed but the guitar is just perfect for me. It was cheaper on the internet so i decided to stray from the store. Once it comes in the mail thugh, ill post a demo haha!

it has 2 humbuckers TDB custom, coil splitting knob, three way selector switch, 22 medium frets, singlebody, stainless steel fretwires, customized tuning lock system, SAT pro II bridge, bordered inlay, and a really light mahagony body

Sounds like a set of Seymour Duncans to me! A sh-4 Jeff Beck in the bridge will cover everything from Blues over Rock to Metal and a Sh-2 Jazz Neck pickup has a great clean tone and works for almot every genre. And those pickups aren't even that expensive! Here they are in a set:

ohhh they are for great price..actualy...they be can also help me improve sound on my Ltd viper 50 ???? actualy i'm like the sound of my pickups but on Hi-gain they dont't sound well somethime

litle question ...i'm not sure if thats tru but i'm heard 1 guy on youtube something like that-> he was change the SH-4 bridge pickups from his Ibanez 2550z and put the Sh-6

the reason why he do that was here->
Well, I made a mistake when buyin' these ones. Namely I should have TBs instead of SHs ones 'cause SHs are NOT designed for tremolo briges (different placement of magnesium dots).
SH2 is a great pickup (NECK!) for cleans and mild solos. SH4 is a monster when soloing but lacks power and is muddy at the bottom (probably due to the TB-SH issue). I have replaced SH4 with TB6 and I must admit that the new one DOES kick ass!"

can he be right???

I tried this sa series and I have to say they're pretty good budget guitars but also you'll have to consider buying some decent pickups if you plan to choose this as you main axe for a longer period smile.gif Those seymours are a good choice...

nice man!
the SA is a cool guitar, could be an awesome guitar after a slight modification of the pickups. smile.gif
as for the pickups i don't have any specific recomendation, I think dimarzios suits my needs. if you check their page you can watch their pickups and listen to some samples of songs where thoose specific PUs have been used. Just a tip! you might find what your searching for. smile.gif

The Tb stands for trembucker (fits in floyd rose guitars) and if he had a sh-4 in his guitar before it would have been a tb-4 for sure. The point is: The sh-4 Jeff Beck is an Alnico V magnet humbucker, it has less output and isn't as tight as a Ceramic magnet humbucker (such as the Sh-6 Distortion Humbucker), but on the other hand the sh-4 sounds warmer and is more versitaile. The person you've quoted propably is a metal player and he needs a hotter and tighter pickup but the Sh-4 can do Metal as well - Lamb Of God use them and Arch Enemy's Michael Ammot plays Death Metal with the Sh-4 so it's your own preferance...
