Hey gear experts

I decided that i want to buy a new guitar since im not satisfied with my gio ibanez anymore and want to have something better so i looked around and found this one:

ltd ec-401

it looks like a good guitar to me and im definetly gonna go and check it out when im back home in germany
but i would still like to hear your opinions on it and suggestions in that price range.
Im especially interested in v-shape or rr-shape but i havent been able to find anything accept the rr1 which is much to expensive for me.
thanks in advance for all the help

I also recommend that you do some A/B tests with Gibson LP Studio and see what sounds better. You can find both guitars in the same price range. And if you install EMGs in that LP... that will be a blast guitar.

The Ec-1000 is from the deluxe series and the ec-401 is from the standard series....

Only looking at the specs they look quite the same but I am sure that could find a difference by trying them both... Probably that the EC-1000 would be a better quality guitar but may not suit you well.... The best thing to do is to try them....
