i was checking out some strats online i saw a fender fr (floyd rose) which i thought was awsome since the fender whammy bar is so hard to push down but then i saw this other fender i liked but didnt have a floyd rose. so i was wondering is there a way to install a floyd rose on a strat or is there too much modification. becuase that would be awsome for me to combine all the stuff i like into a strat

That should be possible, look at Charvel. They had the exact same idea you got. Use what's good from the strat and improve the rest.

What you need to do is to find the measures from a FR, see where to drill the holes that dolds the FR. Make very certain you get the same scale length from nut to bridge as before.
It's possible you could just use the cavity from the original bridge. Otherwise you have to mill it to fit.

Also you should seriously concider changing into a locking nut for a double locking Floyd Rose tremolo.

So to answer your question, I'm sure you can do that but I don't know if it's too much work.
It's possible the FR fits right in and all you have to do is to drill the two holes for the bridge... and change the nut.

But if I got you right you had been browsing new guitars? You don't own this Strat you want to make changes too but rather buy it and then change it? Then I think that's completely meaningless, get a Jackson or a Charvel instead and you'll already have what you want - a Fender with a Floyd Rose.
