At first this lesson did not seem very complicated, learning the notes was pretty quick but man, trying to play it clean and smooth was a surprising and an interesting chalenge. I hope I did well on this one!

You are completely right about this lesson and Stephane's playing. The level of details is very inspiring.

The good news is that your performance here is very good. You don't only play each lick and note perfectly, you are also adding most of those details into your playing. You playing is dynamic and the overall take feels very good to my ears.

I'll give you an 8, only because I think that there is still some room to make your vibrato more consistent, and make your bending smoother. And as Stephane's feeling seems endless, there is always more to get from his licks.

By the way, you did a killer job with this lesson. Congrats!

Very nice! Some improvements I can think of:

* fine tune your bending accuracy

* work on your micro timing. You already do a good job here, but you could more consistently play behind the beat like Stephane. Especially in the faster runs you seem to be more on the beat, you could be a little more "relaxed" here.

* Your tone does not really contain any audible break-up distortion like Stephane's. This would def improve the listening experience and make the paying dynamics come more to life.

Over-all this is a highly enjoyable take. Keep up the fantastic work - you get an 8 from me.

Hey there!

My first impression was very positive - I was afraid to hear a sharp, "heavy hand" picking but you managed to start with spot on right hand touch - soft and smooth just as in original.

To refer to Kriss feedback I would like to clarify just in case:

1. Playing behind a beat purposely is ultra difficult thing. some geners require it and it comes sort of naturally when you "feel the groove". Doing this purposely (fopcusing to do this) is a very difficult task even for pro players. for this moment let's try to say that for this lesson timing is a subjective thing and just try to relax and play it in kind of "sleepy way"

2. You tone doesn't break-up means that Stephane uses slight amouht of crunch gain that adds little sustain and makes you able to sound warm when you play very soft, and deliver some aidble soft distortion when you play really hard. Wehn you play soft is sound like clean tone. When you increase the pickign strength it starts to break-up which means it starts to sound distorted.

very little amount of distortion affects the sustain in a good way and compresses the sound. Ity all makes the guitar more even in the mix


Anyway I'm still impressed with your constant progress and attitude. There are moments here that sounds really pro!. Well done
