Toneport Gx Recording, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have a toneport but will give it a try.


Plug the USB in and confirm that your computer finds the Toneport.

Start your recording software (could be a sequencer like Reaper or maybe something came with your Toneport)

Make sure, with options->audio, that Toneport is set as your soundcard for recording and playing. With ASIO drivers, similar naming like "Line6 ASIO", or "Toneport ASIO" or something.

Plug in your guitar, turn up the volume pot wink.gif and press record in the software.


That's in a short nubee level biggrin.gif Hope that helps, otherwise you have to wait for the Toneport experts to reply.

I would get the UX2 if I was you if you like recording other things like vocals or if you want to record two guitars at once if your maybe practicing harmonizing with a friend.

my Biggest problem is that i cant afford to buy something expensiv i would rather not spen more than 250 dollar on recording and the ux1 i can afford but not the ux2 so is the ux1 good
