Learning By Ear

I don't know what kind of music do you like, but I think American Idiot (Green Day) have a couple of easier and great solos. I higly recomend you to try out songs such as Transylvania and Phantom of the opera from that album. Not only are the solos awesome, but the riffs are also great. That's not really helping. You need to follow your instincts and if that solo is driving you nuts, then it's a drive to learn it! You want to practice things that will leave you feeling rewarded and satisfied I just posted a link to some tools that will REALLY help you.
