This tune is definately motivating, Wrk you did an awesome awesome job, I decided to throw my hat into the ring so to speak and did just an mp3 version (no vid) I tried to keep the same kinda feel, but i definately took creative license with the whole thing without completely gutting it. Except for the parts where the basic melodic theme is this whole thing is improved, i left mistakes intact as i recorded it rather then a polished take. This track is really easy to get carried away on with alot of notes i tried to keep it reeled in for the most part. Let me know what ya think Daniel I like it Another excellent version! It's amazing how much variety that can be done on this song. I also like that you included the small imperfections/mistakes in it, added a more real feel to it. -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio
Amp: Marshall JMP-1 -> Rocktron Velocity 100 -> Marshall JCM-900 Lead 4x12 FX and stomps: T.C Electronics G-Sharp, Korg SDD-1200, Emma Transmorgrifier, BYOC Tribooster, GGG Green Ringer, Dinosaur Overdrive, Voodoo Lab SuperFuzz, Sovtek Bassballs, Line6 Tap Tremolo, EHX Screaming Bird. ___________________________________________________ My Lessons! Wow! Very nice Daniel! I like your tone a lot as well. Could you tell us what gear you used in this recording? Sure thing Its very simple, and yet not lol. Ibanez RG120 stock>GNX3>Sonar 4 PE The GNX patch i am using though took me a long time to dial in, its using one of those GNX hyper models. Basically as i am sure you are aware the GNX has many amp models, the hyper model function allows you to mix 2 amp models together at various percentages basically. This patch is a mix of a Dual Rectifier and a Vox 120 roughly about 35, 65 respectively The distortion stomp model i am using is based on this box http://www.procosound.com/?page=viewprod&a...=150&id=741 Analog ping pong delay at 450ms with the level around 55, Plate type reverb set at 60 Post recording compressor using vintage style compressor (plugin) I don't have the program open atm but both amp models have to be EQ'd as well before you blend them, and the output is a 2x12 cab sim Daniel |

Excellent job Pizzoaro! The only criticism i have is make sure your bends come up to pitch, other then that its dead on man! Daniel Thanks a lot Daniel Well i know, i have problems with bending... Im working on it though THanx for the input and the comment Your improv was awesome as well! I actually put it into my ipod along with the other KMC stuff -Lars -------------------- "Never give up!"

Awesome playing wrk, I really like your guitar tone. what gear did you use to achieve such a great sound? Thank you Skalde ... glad you like it !! I used a POD XT Live, the patch is a modified version of Marcus' patch for his "3-Level-Solo" Lesson. With the POD connected to my mac i used GarageBand for recording. The pickups on my guitar are Seymour Duncan SH4 on the bridge and DiMarzio Cruiser DP186. If you have a POD, i can upload the patch if you like, or you can download Marcus' patch here. He posted the link in one of his comments. This post has been edited by wrk: May 18 2008, 10:53 PM |

Some of your variations were better than mine! Also I agree with Daniels feedback about the bends! |
