Ok, here it is, the very upload thread
and here's the list of participants.

I'm asking 2 mp3s from each one of you,
one with backing and one without, just guitar.
Also, try to start playing after intro fill if possible.
Lets set 15th February as a deadline
but try to record even before if possible.

Way to break the ice fatb0t! Sounds really good and you hit the change well.
This is going to be a tuff one for me. I am not use to this style but wanted to do it for just that reason. Hope I can do as well as you.

Wow Erik!! Awesome take man!! You sound to me like you are pretty comfortable with this style. I love the tapping licks to man!! I love ALL Tapping licks.

Fine tuning a couple of bars (85% done), but after that I just need to improve the sloppyness a bit and post it ... will try to make a video as well.

I strated working on it yesterday. So far I have a tone that sit really good in the mix and some cool melody ideas. Today I am going to work on putting thing together more.

Yay! I managed to get quite a descent solo It did involve some cheating in the way of cutting and pasting pieces, and you might just hear that a tiny bit, but I think the overall picture is quite ok. Credits go to Smells, because I used his Line6 Patch again

Here is mine Muris.
Unfortunately still a bit of string noise at some places (I hate vibrato on the high e string ) and the bends are not perfect, but don't want to further delay things. It's my first collab in which I 100% composed the thing, so kinda scary for me, but an enormously learning experience
Made a video of the recording as well:
Looking forward to your comments. Let me please know if the sound is OK, if not I have also recorded this with a completely dry signal so I can change it if neccesary.

So I wasn't quite able to master the technique for my take in time... so it came out quite sloppy, and I think I used too much reverb on my amp..
anyways I hope you enjoy it, I had fun thinking this one up, and I'm quite proud of it's composition.(not so much the execution)
