Distoraion Pedal To Ux1?

Hi i still wondering if i have to buy first amp or something like line 6 ux 1..i all ready have distorsion pedal digitech df7 and i lowe the Mt2 setings there..and in future i will gonna use the sound a lot..after buing new laptop i'm out of budget now so the ux1 look like ok deal here...i just want to know can i use the distorsion pedal as preamp for the ux1? and get the pedal sound over the ux?

Yea I do exactly that at the moment, I run a seymour duncan SFX03 tube overdrive into a UX2 (which is just a UX1 with more inputs). Works great with pod farm 2.

thanks great news for me B) the ux be cheaper as ok amp and i be can still use my metal sound from digitech smile.gif + be able to add some efect from ux

You can use it no problem, just watch the volume on the pedal. It may clip the input if it is high.
