I recently updated my PC browser to Explorer 8.
Only after the update did this happen, but not all of the video lessons are viewable anymore. Some work, some don't. They used to ALL work.

Does anyone know what might be going on here?

And in the mean time , I would recommend installing the Mozilla Firefox browser which is free and generally considered as a much safer and stable alternative to the internet explorer.

You can always uninstall it if you don't like it : http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html

Everything should work fine in the Firefox! smile.gif

Thanks guys.
Downloaded Flash Player 10.
All is working well now.

Also downloaded FireFox. Nice Program! I might switch from Explorer once I get used to the way bookmarks/favorites are slightly different.

Jim.

Glad you got it worked out JamesT!!

IE 8 is more designed for the Windows Vista platform. If your running with Windows XP still then you will need to upgrade all of your browser plugins. Maybe a few other thing also. smile.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Thanks Jeff.
Yea, I kind of got carried away updating Explorer when my Windows Media Player started crashing. I thought I might have a virus so I downloaded a bunch of virus scan/detection programs. When that didn't fix it (no viruses found) and Media Player was still crashing (along with Explorer by that time), I went ahead and downloaded the "upgrade" from Microsoft. MS said that it's ok for XP.

The thing seems to be stable at the moment, but I'm thinking this weekend I should do a complete backup, wipe my disk drives, and re-install Windows from CD. That's a big job since it means re-installing my applications as well. It makes me think about buying a Mac. mad.gif

Since I got back into guitar, there's a lot of better things to do like practice though, so if my PC hangs on by a thread, I'll probably just let it go. (aside from backing up my recorded takes though smile.gif )

To manage your bookmarks I would suggest you to use Delicious : http://www.delicious.com smile.gif

You will never loose your bookmarks again by switching or reinstalling your comp.

Otherwise there is also a nice add-on on Firefox called Foxmarks which is incredibly cool to share your bookmarks on multiple computers.

And be sure to check "Personas" for Firefox with which you will be able to customize your interface with nice themes. wink.gif
