Have you tried Recuva?
 http://www.piriform.com/recuva A recovery peogram for deleted files! If that doesn't work, I'll certainly try to make the thumbnails bigger (although I don't think it'll work)... If it's possible, I'll make it happen!

Looks like you've lost them unfortunately. I wish you luck with that program but from your post I see no solution.

One CD that is packed with utilities is Hiren's Boot CD, which can be found on sites we all know, but are not allowed to discuss...
There is many proggies for recovering lost files, if You havent formatted the drive or partitioned it, it's a good chance that its still there... Try a software called undelete plus .. It seems there has been a lot that has happened ever since the files got deleted.. The more new files you save, the less are your chances of recovering old files.
