Yeah, I'll check it out thanks. I could probably do some of the mods myself - I definitely want that power scaling!

Wow!!
Those mods look pretty cool, changing valves, powerscaling & even the pedal. Awesome. I had an eye on that amp but realized it would be too loud for home use cranked. With these mods it looks & sounds killer. Looking forward for a review when you get it -------------------- Guitars:

Warren DeMartini (Unless he's dyslexic!!!) He's the only one who can't own one. He'd get too many questions about the spelliing -------------------- My bands homepage

I've built a few tube amps before. 5 watts cranked in your bedroom will make your ears bleed! Particularly with an efficient speaker. Yup. Even my AC4 at 0.25 Watts setting is already too loud for an apartment when cranked through its 12'' cab! -------------------- Guitars:

Good mods, I like the power scaling and the EL84-6L6 switch on the combo. Pretty cool

How do you like that AC4? Love it!. As i said I can't really crank it at home, but I use a satchurator dist pedal in front and it takes it pretty well, gives a beautiful overdrive on low gain & a powerful nwobhm "maidenish" roar when gain /guitar volume is increased. -------------------- Guitars:
